Växjö and the European Green Leaf Award 2018
The European Commission has appointed Växjö the European Green Leaf Award 2018. Very good news and proof that Växjö really is one of Europe’s greenest cities!
Växjö Municipality sees this as a great opportunity to highlight the local environmental work during the coming year, including the activities within the READY project.
On a regional climate conference 7th of December in Växjö, Lord Mayor Bo Frank told the more than 100 participant about the award.
During 2018, Växjö will communicate the European Green Leaf Award with our inhabitants and business sector, especially during Earth Week March, 19-24. Växjö is proud of the award and will continue the work to be a green and sustainable municipality! www.vaxjo.se/sustainable
